Teaching Interests

Dr. Uddin’s teaching interest includes various Pharm.D. courses, such as Pharmaceutics, Pharmacokinetics, Physical Pharmacy, Pharmacy Calculation and Compounding Laboratory.

Scholarly Interests

Dr. Uddin’s research interest focuses on formulation development of nano/micro particle-based vaccines or small drug molecule. The research more specifically focuses on development of preventive or therapeutic vaccines for most prevalent cancers exploiting the unique properties of nanoparticles, such as large surface-to-volume ratio, small size, the ability to encapsulate various drugs, and tunable surface chemistry. He is active in pharmacetuical research and has many publications to his credit. In 2016, Dr. Uddin was invited to speak at the American Association of Bangladeshi Pharmaceutical Sciences (AABPS) Annual Meeting and Exposition in Denver, CO where his talk was titled, Vaccine Delivery: Current Status and Future Prospective. He has also presented a poster at the American Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences (AAPS) Annual Meeting titled, Gamma-Irradiated Nuclear Factor Kappa-B (NF-kB) Antisense Microsphere.
